A reflection on the teaching

The question printed here asks whether searching for a complete account of life's meaning can delay meaningful action. We can still learn and think deeply while doing something worthwhile today. Caring for a person, keeping a mitzvah or fulfilling a responsibility gives meaning an expression in practice. We need not solve every philosophical question first. Choose one action whose value you already recognize, and make time for it. Afterwards, consider what the experience taught you. Sometimes doing the work clarifies the questions we brought to it.
